Thank you for Joining the PTA!

Welcome to our school's new PTA member e-newsletter! These emails will provide you with a snapshot of the latest and greatest with the Highland Terrace PTA.

What does it mean to be a member of the PTA?

The PTA, with your donations and member fees, supports several programs and events at our school that benefit your children every day. Some events include family skate nights, the annual Science Night, and much more! We also help sponsor enrichment programs, like Lego Robotics, Language Classes, Arts Programs, and more!
See our site for a full list of cool stuff you and your family can participate in at our school.

Hello from PTA Co-Presidents

We made it!  The whirlwind of September and the start of school is now behind us – paperwork is completed, we’ve met with teachers, and our students are settling into the routines of their new classes. The same goes for HTPTA, our tried and true PTA-sponsored programs are in motion:
  • The art docent team is working with all grades to make those amazing clay creations and further develop our student’s love of art.
  • Kindergarten students recently explored the world of spiders through our hands-on science enrichment program.
  • Science Night is scheduled for December 2.
We are also exploring new initiatives. Look for announcements about the launch of Highland Terrace Watch Dogs, playground enhancements and new programming to support STEM learning in the classrooms.

If you have ideas on how the PTA can better serve our school community, we’d love to hear from you!

Newly designed Orca wear is coming soon

Order forms were sent home with students last week. Purchasing a t-shirt is a great way to show school support and help your school's PTA. Take a peek at the new design. Orders are due by 10/19/16!
